DMA Teacher of Guitar, Piano, Songwriting, Voice, Worship Music
Hannah Borden is an artist by nature and creativity infiltrates nearly everything she does. In 2011, she graduated as a multi-instrumentalist from Southwestern AG University, and in 2013 she graduated with an Advanced Studies Diploma in Technical Arts from Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas.
During her career at Southwestern, Hannah was awarded multiple music scholarships, performed with the SAGU Piano Ensemble, and assisted in university group piano classes while teaching private music lessons in her personal studio. She was also specially selected to perform in the annual SAGU Board of Regents Banquet, and was chosen to be the sole pianist for the university’s All-Steinway campaign. During her time at CFNI, Hannah was a guitarist for the institution’s main band, and a keyboardist and vocalist in multiple other school bands.
Hannah is the creative director at her church in Red Oak, where she plays and sings weekly, manages church bands, oversees church productions, and trains interns for weekly services and events. She has been playing and singing on church worship teams for over a decade.
In addition, Hannah has recorded an EP of her own original music and spent years gigging at venues in both in the Dallas and Houston areas. Hannah is a cheerful and energetic teacher, passionate about instilling the love of music, creativity, and excellence in her students.
“I believe dedication and consistent application of new material, mixed with lighthearted fun, are key ingredients to the success of any aspiring musician. I strive to employ them in each of my lessons.”
