Argentine-American pianist Dr. Gustavo A. Tolosa holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts degree from the prestigious Eastman School of Music. He is a Master Level Teacher at the Dallas Music Academy, focusing on preparing intermediate/advanced level students for auditions, concerts and competitions.

While in Rochester, NY, he taught at the Eastman School, the University of Rochester and at the Hochestein School of Music and Dance.

In Rochester, he appeared numerous times in concerts as a soloist, chamber musician and with orchestra. On two occasions, his concerts were broadcast live on the radio WXXI-FM.

In the city of Dallas (Texas) he formed the chamber music group “Dallas Chamber Players” with violinist Inga Kroll and cellist Heather Montcrief with whom he recorded the CD “Greetings from Argentina” in 2013. The CD is available for sale at CD Baby under “Dallas Chamber Players.”

Dr. Tolosa is the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization “Musical Angels, Inc.” This organization provides free weekly piano and guitar lessons to hospitalized children, helping patients to recover and improve the quality of daily life.

Dr. Tolosa is also the founder and Academic Director of the Dallas Music Academy. The Dallas Music Academy offers highly tailored lessons in piano, guitar, singing, bass, cello and violin to students of all ages and levels.

Dr. Tolosa has taught at the college level at several universities in Texas, California and New York and has presented more than 700 concerts and master classes in the United States, Argentina, Spain, England, China, Singapore, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Dr. Tolosa is represented by Collins Classical for performances, master classes and speaking engagements.
